Encryption Key

The encryption key is generated upon your initial login into Keepit. The key is used for encrypting and decrypting your files during backup and restore. This ensures that you alone have access to viewing the content of your bacup.

We strongly recommend that you create a safety copy of your encryption key, and place it in an external secure location.
