Backup and restore scope
This version does not support custom backup or restore configurations. All data in the Confluence instance will be included in any backup or full restore operation.
- Users: The backup includes users from the whole organization, not just users of individual Confluence sites.
- Groups: The backup includes users of the whole organization, not just groups of individual Confluence sites.
- Filters: Only filters shared with the user who authorized the connector are included in the backup.
Restore limitations
Projects
- Projects can only be restored as company-managed projects.
Inline comments and replies
- Inline comments and replies on blog posts or pages can be backed up. If they exist in the snapshot, they can be updated during restore, but cannot be newly created
Spaces
- Personal spaces are restored as private spaces. All other space types are restored as global spaces by default.
- A space can be restored from a snapshot only if it was deleted from Trashed spaces page on Confluence. A space can be deleted from Trashed spaces only by administrator.
Groups
- Restoring Group Product Access is not supported. While restoring a group brings back its users, associated apps are not restored automatically. You will need to manually restore any apps after the group has been restored.
