Create a Confluence connector

Follow these steps to create a Confluence connector and set up your backup configuration.

1. On the Connectors page, in the upper-right corner, select Add connector > Add Confluence сonnector. 

2. In the Organization URL field, enter your organization's Atlassian URL (e.g., your_name.atlassian.net).

Important: This must be the exact host name shown in your browser when you're logged into your Confluence instance. The organization name is embedded in the URL and should be copied exactly.

3. Click Sign in to begin the authentication process.

4. In the Atlassian sign-in page, enter the credentials of an admin account.

5. Review the permissions requested by the Keepit application and select Accept to grant access.

Note: You will be prompted for permissions only the first time you create a connector. Afterward, Keepit retains the permissions it needs. 

6. After authentication, you'll be redirected to Keepit where you can configure your connector.

Your connector will be created, and the first backup will be scheduled.
