Manually start a backup

Manually initiate backup jobs on demand for enhanced control over your data protection.

You can start a backup job on any connector, except if it already has a job in progress.

Please note that when you manually initiate a backup job, the next automatic job will be scheduled 12 hours from the initiation of the manual job, not from the initiation of the previous automatic backup job.

Manually start a backup job

1. Navigate to the Connectors page.

2. Hover over the connector you want to back up and select ••• > Start backup.

3. Click Start backup.
The backup job will be scheduled and start shortly. 


Note: Manually starting a backup initiates an incremental backup, capturing only the changes made since the last backup. A full initial backup is performed only once—automatically triggered after a connector is created and its configuration is saved.
