What counts as a seat in a Power Platform / Dynamics 365 backup
What is a seat
At Keepit, we use "seat" as the metric to measure your consumption of our services. Each seat you purchase represents a licensed user.
Dynamics 365
Requirements for a user to be counted as one seat
- User must be an active user under a Dynamics 365 subscriptionDynamics 365 SalesDynamics 365 Customer ServiceDynamics 365 Field ServiceDynamics 365 Project Service AutomationDynamics 365 Marketing
- If the user is in multiple Dynamics 365 applications (modules), we count the user just once
Power Platform
How seats are counted
Power Automate
- Each Power Automate license (Power Automate Premium) counts as one seat
Power Pages
Power Pages licensing is based on user capacity, meaning each license represents a specific number of users:
- Power Pages authenticated user license includes 100 users
- Power Pages anonymous user license includes 500
We count the number of users as seats:
- One Power Pages authenticated user license counts as 100 seats
- One Power Pages anonymous user license counts as 500 seats
