Create a BambooHR connector
Obtain your organization URL
Before creating your connector, obtain your BambooHR organization URL.
When you sign in to your BambooHR instance, the URL will include your organization’s name — this is the value you need. Use only the base domain (for example, company.bamboohr.com).
Create a connector
Follow these steps to create a BambooHR connector and set up your backup configuration.
1. On the Connectors page, in the upper-right corner, select Add connector > Add BambooHR сonnector.
2. In the Organization URL field, enter the your BambooHR URL (e.g., company.bamboohr.com).
3. Click Sign in to begin the authentication process.
4. In the BambooHR sign-in page, enter the credentials of an admin account.
5. Review the permissions requested by the Keepit application and select Accept to grant access.
Note: You will be prompted for permissions only the first time you create a connector. Afterward, Keepit retains the permissions it needs.
6. After authentication, you'll be redirected to Keepit where you can configure your connector.
Here you can:
- Change the name of the connector
- Manage user access to the connector by selecting the lock icon
- Limit the retention period by selecting the calendar icon
7. Select Create.
Your connector will be created, and the first backup will be scheduled.
